ARTIST PROFILE: John Stewart-Jones

 John has worked in the aircraft industry for over 40 years. As a design draughtsman John has worked for many large U.K. & Australian aircraft companies. He has worked on the initial design of aircraft & missiles, such as the TSR 2, Hawker Siddley HS 125, GAF 'Nomad', AAC 'Wamira', McDonnell Douglas MD 900 Explorer & the anti-submarine 'Ikara' Missile.
John is a recognised Flight Test Observer & a pilot with over 3,500 hours experience on single & twin engined aircraft. He is also an accomplished aerobatic pilot & has instructed advanced aerobatics on the Pitts Special.
 Because of his drafting background, John is able to use pencil & charcoal drawing to great effect creating a significant print series from his drawings. His prints are $20.00 Australian each & are individually signed.
